Aryana is now open off Coffee Street in downtown Greenville. Here is an article and video by WSPA on them. Food looks pretty good! Looking forward to trying this one out for sure.

Their address is:

210 E. Coffee Street

Open for Lunch around 11 AM.

In the former Golden Chick location off South Pleasantburg a new local chain has opened up called Fresh Burger. Report back and let us know how the food is!

Wade Hampton Happenings (Greenville, Taylors, Greer)

Lots of construction going on down the Wade Hampton Boulevard corridor. First of all Taylors/Greer has a new jewelry store!

In the North Hampton Market and in the former location of the Tutti Frutti will be opening a Kay Jewelers. Also, the old Papa Murphy’s space looks like it’s getting renovated as well. Not sure what will be going in there.

Down by the Hampton Village area in Taylors is a coming soon sign for the Highway 55 burger location that will be occupying 2 spaces of the new retail space that’s just finished being built. Starbucks is supposedly occupying the last space in that new area.

And it looks like the construction going on in front of the Wade Hampton HS and off WHB is the rumored Lidl grocery store and some other shops. And only a few more days till the newly renovated Aldi’s will be back open in Taylors!

There is also a good bit of construction happening down near the IHOP. That old hotel area is totally cleared out and looks like infrastructure is starting to be laid down for maybe retail or offices? Not sure.

Coming Soon: Aryana Afghan Restaurant (Downtown Greenville)

(ugh, sorry for the logo. This is what they have on their Facebook page and it’s already cropped this way)

Noticed that in the former Ellada Kouzina space off Coffee Street (Downtown Greenville) is a new restaurant sign.

The restaurant is called Aryana Afghan Restaurant. They do have a Facebook page but that’s about it. The only web information out there is for a similarly named restaurant in Danville, GA. If this restaurant is related to that one then that could be a great win for Downtown. We need more Middle Eastern style restaurants in the Upstate (I love me some Kebabs/Kabobs!)
