Now Open: Sidewall Pizza (Greenville)

Pizza fans rejoice! Sidewall Pizza is now open!

Sidewall Pizza, a popular Travelers Rest eatery known for its eclectic pizzas and unique homemade ice cream flavors, is having a soft opening this evening [WOT note: this was yesterday] at its new Greenville location.

Andy O’ Mara, who owns Sidewall Pizza along with Loren Frant, said the second location will open slowly, similar to how they opened in Travelers Rest. Hours will be limited and increase as staff gets in place. Eventually the Greenville location will be open for lunch and dinner. For the lunch crowd, O’Mara said they plan to add some sandwich items to their menu.

You can check out their hours on their Facebook page and website.

Closed: Papa Murphy’s (Five Forks area)

Heard that the Five Forks location of Papa Murphy’s has closed recently. Here’s the scoop from jac

Papa Murphy’s closed their Five Forks location yesterday.

And another comment from Coastermaster83

Cant say I didn’t see that coming. They were good but they didn’t have a good road presents to know they were there and they were always selling 5 buck pies and that cant be good for business unless your little ceasers.

There are still a couple of locations in the Upstate so you’ll have to drive around a little more to find one.
