Hey Greer folks! All is well for those of us that reside in the Greer area. Culver’s will be opening on May 16 and they are looking to hire about 75 people to staff the restaurant.
Culver’s has set an opening date and has begun hiring for its Greer Restaurant.
Culver’s, a 4,250-square-foot restaurant, is located at 1040 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., next to Aldi. There will be seating for 108 guests and a drive-through for to-go orders with parking for a runner to deliver the completed orders.
One less reason to journey to Woodruff Road once they open up.
We first posted about Culver’s here, here, and here.
Quick update: The digital sign is showing a May 16th for opening day! Woohoo!
Get your appetites ready! Tucanos Brazilian Grill will be opening for business on April 28! Sounds like they are looking to hire a lot of people as well. You can check out the Greenville website here and see what they’re looking for.
We first posted about Tucanos coming here, here, and here. It’s been a good while since they’ve started this project. Glad to hear it’s finally coming to a close (or open!)
We posted back here that Dickey’s BBQ was shutting down and relocating. Just found out where they are relocating too:
Edit: If you’re not signed into Facebook you might not see the info above so here it is quoted:
For over 6 years we have been blessed with being part of a great community and great circle of guests friends. However, we have made the decision to move the store to a new location in Boiling Springs. November 25, 2015 will be our last day in operation in Taylors. Our new location will be opening at 4080 Highway 9, in front of Wal-Mart, in February 2016. Our phone number will remain the same – 864-848-0004 – for any of your catering needs. We can continue to serve you from our store in Inman. We welcome you to stop by our Inman and Boiling Springs locations and join us as we make new memories there.
So if you’re hankering for some Dickey’s BBQ you’ll have to head off to Boiling Springs now.
Ah, the Cook-Out in Greer should be opening this coming weekend baring any crazy weather (like today). Looks like it’s going to be a pretty nice restaurant.
Cook-Out is scheduled to open next week, according to co-general manager Bryson Taylor. Halloween weekend is the targeted date, pending on weather.
The Greer Cook-Out will feature the newest store prototype with seating for 80-90 inside and outdoors and a drive-thru lane. There will be 45-60 employees when fully staffed. The hours will be 10 a.m. – 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. – 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.“Cook-Out has an almost cult following with high schools and college ages since we’re open later,” Bryson said. “If we do our job the product will sell itself.”
We previously posted about Cook-Out coming back in May so it’s exciting to see it’s almost here!
