Coming Soon: PecTec (Spartanburg, SC)


Spartanburg is on a manufacturing role! Another German-based manufacturer will be opening a small plant in Spartanburg this year. The company is called PecTec and they make automotive parts. It is estimated that about 15 new jobs will be created.

The facility will produce more than 6 million linear meters of product annually, including foils, strips and sheets of aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, copper alloy and stainless steel.

Coming Soon: Kobelco (Moore, SC)


We post a lot of restaurant and retails news but when we see news like this it always is awesome! Why? Because these types of plants are big job and economy boosters for the Upstate.

Greenville Online is reporting that a Japanese company is building a large excavator plant in Moore and due to open by the end of the year. Also planning on creating about 130 jobs or so. Not bad at all.
