Looks like Firehouse Subs is expanding in the Upstate!
New Firehouse subs coming to Powdersville http://locations.firehousesubs.com/locations/sc/powdersville
There is no confirmed date listed on the site on when the location will be open. Check back here in the future as we’ll post it as soon as we find out!
Thanks to Lorri for the tip!
Yay for more local/regional restaurants! Especially with unique themes. So with that let’s get right to it: Biscuit Head, an Asheville-based restaurant, will be opening up a location here in Greenville. The location will be at South Ridge development which is right off University and Church Street (across from NEXT Center).
Pretty cool concept and hope they do well! IMO you can never go wrong with breakfast places. More details on the restaurant can be found on this UBJ article.
So check out their corporate site and get your belly’s ready for some biscuits!
Looks like Bass Pro Shops has sealed the real estate deal for their new store! Fantastic news for Upstate peeps! I love Bass Pro! I can drool over fishing and outdoor gear all day long…
More details can be found here. What I find interesting is how aggressive Spartanburg County is in trying to keep the City of Greer (which spans both Greenville and Spartanburg counties) from annexing the property. Greer has a reputation of being pretty aggressive in that department (just look at their city boundaries and you’ll go huh?).
Two new retail/service places are opening up on Wade Hampton Blvd across from the Target. One is an Aspen Dental and the other store is supposedly a health foods/vitamin/supplement type of store. I do not know all the info yet on that but will update as soon as I find out.
Edit: Just found out today (10/31/14) that The Vitamin Shoppe will be coming up next to AspenDental.
