Now Open: Bojangles (Taylors) and an update on The Donut Experiment!

We posted a while back that there is a new Bojangles being built off Wade Hampton. Well it is now open! Drove by it last night and sign says it’s open and dining room had a number of folks eating. Place looks really nice too.

Go get your Bo on!

Also, make sure to read comments on posts here as well! The owner of The Donut Experiment posted an update that they are working on the building now:

Sorry for the delay, but work is finally under way.
The location is at the corner of Faris and Augusta.
In no time, we will be serving fresh, cake donuts with many choices of toppings! Great coffee too

Well, the Yap Greenville restaurant that’s right off Main Street is closed now. There’s a sign in the door that shows the following:

Coming Soon: The Playwright (Greenville)

Looks like the new retail/restaurant area at River’s Edge is going to be the home of a new Irish pub called The Playwright. They are planning on opening up around August.

The restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner, offering authentic Irish pub food, including fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherd’s pie, along with some American fare such as fish, steaks and salads.

Thirty-six beers will be on tap, along with wine and cocktails and some Irish whiskeys. Brunch will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

Their website and Facebook page.
