Got a tip from a reader and wanted to share it with everyone:
Hi there, Wanted to share some exciting news that I thought might be of interest. Chicken Salad Chick (CSC), the nation’s only southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant, will be opening its third Greenville location on Tuesday, April 19 at 15 Garlington Road, Suite 100. This location is owned and operated by long-time franchisee team Michelle Singleton and Julie Beville of Sing Bev Hospitality, LLC and marks the seventh Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in South Carolina. Would love to share this news with your readers!
Thanks Tiffany for the submission!
We posted about the upcoming expansion last year so it’s great to hear that it will be open tomorrow!
Hey Greer folks! All is well for those of us that reside in the Greer area. Culver’s will be opening on May 16 and they are looking to hire about 75 people to staff the restaurant.
Culver’s has set an opening date and has begun hiring for its Greer Restaurant.
Culver’s, a 4,250-square-foot restaurant, is located at 1040 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., next to Aldi. There will be seating for 108 guests and a drive-through for to-go orders with parking for a runner to deliver the completed orders.
One less reason to journey to Woodruff Road once they open up.
We first posted about Culver’s here, here, and here.
Quick update: The digital sign is showing a May 16th for opening day! Woohoo!
Get your appetites ready! Tucanos Brazilian Grill will be opening for business on April 28! Sounds like they are looking to hire a lot of people as well. You can check out the Greenville website here and see what they’re looking for.
We first posted about Tucanos coming here, here, and here. It’s been a good while since they’ve started this project. Glad to hear it’s finally coming to a close (or open!)
Just saw this announcement today –
Ruth’s Chris Steak House is adding a second location in Greenville, according to the marketing firm Crawford Strategy.
Nisha Patel, with Crawford Strategy, said Ruth’s Chris is hoping to open in August or September.
It will be opening up downtown off the Reedy River in the Riverplace retail/hotel area. Fantastic location and will bring a lot of good foot traffic to that part of Downtown.
Great news for sure!
It looks like Abbott’s Frozen Custard will be opening up this weekend in Downtown Greer! We first heard about them last summer and glad to hear things are coming to an opening. Hey, even if it’s the dead of winter in South Carolina there is always room for frozen custard for sure! The news article headline at Greer Today says January 8 as the opening date but the article itself omits it. So swing by on the 8th to see if they’re open and report back!
Abbott’s Frozen Custard will open downtown Friday, Jan. [sic] at 119 East Poinsett Street. It’s the first franchise in the Carolinas and Georgia.
Owner Mark Khoury has renovated the former Dixie Shoe Shop into the custard store with a contemporary design. Windows have replaced the side brick wall to create a view into the alley that will serve as a common area with outside seating and tables with umbrellas.
“The ally will be open in the spring. It will also be a place where groups and families can rent the space,” Khoury said.
