Downtown Greenville is losing the Charleston Cooks store at the end of May. The owners are retiring according to the news they sent out.
The owner of Charleston Cooks, Dick Elliott, has made the decision to retire from business and we are closing our stores. We are grateful to our customers for 11 years of support. It has been a pleasure serving the Charleston and Greenville communities and the visitors of both of these areas. We are especially thankful for all of the employees who have contributed to building this very special brand over the years.
We will continue to host our cooking classes through April. In an effort to serve our customers at the high standard they are accustomed to, we have canceled and refunded deposits for private events beyond April as staffing could become limited. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.
Customers holding Charleston Cooks gift certificates should redeem them for merchandise in Greenville by Sunday, May 29 and by Tuesday, June 28 in Charleston.
Stay tuned for special sales and promotions as we work to reduce our inventory.

Will be sad to see them go. It’s a unique store that adds some nice character to downtown Greenville. Here’s hoping something new comes on board soon!
