Well, not really a new restaurant but it looks like the Corona’s Mexican Restaurant that’s on 2112 W. Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville is moving across the street. Looks like they are remodeling the former Chinese restaurant building for their new location. That building has been empty for 5+ years now and has always been a revolving door of restaurants.
There is Corona’s sign and some construction going on at the building now.
Wonder what will happen with the current Corona’s once they move?
Now this is a cool concept! A downtown late night taco stand!
Ventana Magica opened up recently and is serving tacos from 10:30 PM – 2:00 AM.
There’s a new late night spot in downtown Greenville that is keeping people fed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Ventana Magica has only been open about a month but already its garnered a devoted following.
The pop-up taco shop is the brainchild of Will Smith (no, not the actor) who developed the concept with the help of 21 East owner, Chris Stake. Ventana opens every Friday and Saturday night at the window on the side of 21 East on Brown Street. There, Smith sells his tacos for $2.50 for one or $4 for two.
(looks like there’s an error in the Greenville Online article. They are open at 10:30 PM and not AM).
